《Message from the principal》
Here at Johnouchi Secondry School, we seek to nurture global minded students who contribute to world peace and the development of society throughout the world. Our curriculum especially focuses on English, Maths, and Sciences, teaching lessons which facilitate our students to establish identities as 21st century citizens who can think critically and logically, with strong academic abilities.
Furthermore, we also provide abundant opportunities to cultivate interconnectedness, global mindedness, and creativity. Our club activities range from sports to technology to arts to social and cultural based clubs. We also facilitate excursions to Tokushima (golfing and indigenous culture study), Hiroshima (world peace and history study), Hokkaido (human rights and AINU indigenous culture study), Australia (international exchange), and more.
Students are also encouraged and supported in taking part in local, national, and international competitions and exchanges, where they have demonstrated their skills and talents to the world. Through these events, we hope to inspire our students to hold themselves in high esteem and continually develop themselves throughout their lives
On behalf of the teachers and students of Johnouchi Pre-Secondary School and Secondary School, I wholeheartedly welcome you to the community of Johnouchi: a community you can be proud to be part of.
